Another twelve months have rolled past in what seems like a blink of an eye and as we head towards the end of 2021 and look forward to whatever 2022 brings, lets take a moment to reflect and be grateful for all we have. At Peter Hanley Motors, we continue to be grateful for you, our loyal customers, who continue to support us year on year. We are thankful too for our expanding staff team and for the gift of enjoying another prosperous year in the motor trade.
This year we added another award to the trophy cupboard as we were presented with the ‘Longford Motor Dealer of the year’ 2021 presented by All Ireland Business Foundation. We celebrated with the official opening of our new state of the art workshop. The sales yard was further extended and now has the added bonus of keeping us all fit as we run, jog and sprint from one end of the lot to the other sourcing the perfect car for our customers. Our online presence improved too as we finished our indoor photo showroom with its impressive car turntable. As more and more drivers source their next cars online before calling to the showroom, we are happy that every vehicle is now displayed beautifully, completely and from all angles.
2021 was not without its challenges. Dad, Peter, contracted Covid -19 in January and had major heart surgery in June. Thankfully, he has made a full recovery. Brexit and the well-publicised car shortages kept us all on our toes and made life interesting. Hopefully, both of those situations will improve in the New Year.
Despite these glitches, we are happy to report another highly successful year here at Peter Hanley Motors. We are looking forward with great enthusiasm and positivity to the next phases for the business. We are excited to get on with our plans for building a new and snazzy car sales showroom. This will be the next stage in our continued improvements and renovations, and we cannot wait till you see the finished product. Don’t worry though, we will still be us, even in new classy surroundings!
If we have all learned anything over the past few years, it is to treasure the precious moments and make happy memories with those who are dear to us. As we enter our 33rd in business, we appreciate every single customer just as we did on the first day we opened.
